Football was everything to me. I fell in love with it and made the decision at 14 that I would give the game everything I had and accept everything that came with the process.
I didn’t play a single snap my junior or senior year. I was lost. No film, no guide, no direction. Just in love with the game and stuck wondering…
“how do I get to the next level in this situation?”
My senior year, I vividly remember sitting on the side of my bed and I said to myself, “I don’t know how… but I’m going to find a way.” I put together a daily regimen and followed it for the next year and a half faithfully and transferred to a junior college after my freshman year of college.
College
I played JUCO ball for a year. The season had ended and I stayed up one night past 3 in the morning betting on myself - putting together my tape, drafting up an email about my athletic numbers, my academic standing, and sent it out to a combination of three dozen or so DI and DII schools.
Soon after, around 5:30am, I woke up to about seven responses. The first response came at 5:01am from the head coach of a small DI school in West Virginia. A couple hours later, I had just over two dozen responses. A couple weeks later, even my dream school, the University of Oregon, offered me an opportunity to join the program.
It was very clear to me I had been right about my place in the game and had built a successful daily personal plan that put me in front of opportunities that I always knew I could have if I was mentally filtered, disciplined, and committed to the process.
It was surreal. But known…
“I had to become someone before I was something.”
I ultimately chose a DII school where I felt I had my best opportunity to make an immediate impact.
I was wrong.
I battled injuries from day one at the university pulling my hip flexor in my very first practice that led to other injuries. A year later, an extensively torn labrum that required surgery and put me out a full season. I came back the following year and was entirely lost in the fold.
I lost my fire and myself in a game I still loved. Finding a way to the next level from the circumstances seemed like it would require a miracle.
Post College
A year and a half after college, I was invited to play semi-pro ball and reluctantly decided to give it a try. After crossing paths with a few of my college teammates in the league and finding out every one of them were trying to give themselves another professional opportunity, I decided I too would use the platform for the same pursuit.
“I had a restored love and appreciation for the game. For myself.”
Over the next five years, my reputation started to proceed me and I found myself with multiple football opportunities including two CFL private tryout invites and a regional combine invite from the Minnesota Vikings that was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID.
It was more proof to me a vision backed by committed character and a diligent plan will take you a lot further than talent no matter what situation you’re in.

Professional Career
I played with the St. Paul Bears of the UIFA arena football league in 2025 where I finished the season as the league leader in interceptions (4), won a championship, and was selected as a team captain.
My character habits continue to fuel my professional journey in 2026.
My opportunities all stem from advanced character development practices.
