High Performance (HP) Level
Core Emphasis - HP
1. Confidence as a Skill (Not a Feeling)
Builds confidence through repeatable internal behaviors like self-talk, awareness, and decision-making rather than external validation or performance outcomes.
2. Awareness of Thought, Emotion, and Choice
Introduces athletes to the awareness that aligning your thoughts, feelings, and actions is the gateway to controlling your circumstances on and off the field.
3. Emotional Regulation Under Pressure
Develops the ability to recognize emotional states in real time to be able to respond intentionally instead of reacting impulsively.
4. Identity Separation (Athlete ≠ Performance)
Lays the groundwork for separating self-worth from results, mistakes, approval, or any other form of external validation. One of the most important long-term performance protectors.
5. Ownership & Personal Responsibility
Shifts the athlete from blaming circumstances to taking accountability for mindset, preparation, and response.
6. Foundational Mental Habits
Establishes daily reflection, intentional thinking, and basic self-leadership practices that all 4Q programming higher levels build upon.
